OST — Hair: Original Broadway Cast Recording (2-LP)
Grammy winner for Best Score from an Original Cast Show Album
Limited Edition 180-Gram Pressing on Green & Yellow Vinyl or Expanded Edition on Double 180-Gram Black Vinyl
The 1968 rock musical by Gerome Ragni, James Rado and Galt MacDermot reflects the creators’ observations of the hippie counterculture and sexual revolution of the era. The musical broke new ground by defining the genre of “rock musical,” using a racially integrated cast, and inviting the audience onstage for a “Be-In” finale. This limited edition reissue features the complete recording on a deluxe and expanded 2-LP set on green & yellow swirled vinyl (LP 1) and orange & yellow swirled vinyl (LP 2). The package includes an 8-page booklet with pictures and liner notes and is packaged in a PVC protective sleeve.
