Formed in Australia in 1977, INXS was initially known for their new wave/pop style. The band later developed a harder pub rock style that included funk and dance elements. Fronted by Michael Hutchence for 20 years before his death, Hutchence’s sultry good looks and magnetic stage presence often made him the focal point of the band. This greatest hits album, The Very Best, was originally released in 2011.
