Record Store Day Releases
Record Store Day was conceived as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1,400 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands more internationally. The first Record Store Day took place on April 19, 2008. While the official Record Store Day takes place annually, there are typically RSD drops for Black Friday also. Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for Record Store Day and RSD Black Friday.
We are an official Record Store Day Pledge Store. But thanks to the crazy world of supply and demand right now, some titles may not be available, or available in very limited quantities. So your best bet to get what you want is to visit our Blue Ridge store in-person on Record Store Day. After 24 hours, we’ll add any still-available titles to our website. You can find them below.
